Great news for a great Bearcat...I think he can stick in the NBA with his combination of skills and athleticism. Probably needs to get more consistent from 3pt range to fill the likely spot for him on the roster, but this is a great start!

I think he's got a shot. He's not as skilled as Gary Clark, but is probably more athletic. If he can start hitting 3's consistently, he could have a similar role in the league.

That's awesome..congrats!

Great D. Good rebounder. Make some shots like he did his senior year and he can have a nice career.

Couldn't happen to a better guy. Really rooting for him. He's my 2nd favorite Bearcat all-time.

What was his recruiting ranking when he came to UC--something in the 200s? Remarkable career. Hope he sticks for a bit in the NBA. The last 3 guys to make it--him, Gary Clark, and Jacob Evans--all seem like good people who, all else being equal, you'd like to have on your team.

Add in Jarron and Troy and amount real talent lost of the last handful of seasons is being felt in a difficult way.

We can only hope that someone in the current group can reach those levels.

In a league that requires the ability to defend multiple positions I could see him catching on as a defensive specialist. He's not going to be a plus offensive but for a 6'8 guy he can handle and pass so he could potentially play offense without hurting you. I'll be pulling hard for him. Whether or not he makes it with his positive attitude, personality, and work ethic he's going to be highly successful in life. Hope he has a long playing career whether domestically or overseas and comes back; I'd actually love to see him in media.

He was #268 nationally...was an 85 on 247 compared to Justin Jennifer as a 90 and Evans as a 92 in that class.

Tre to the Jazz.

Tre not to the Jazz.

At least I now have someone to root against along with Lebron.

RE: Tre to the Jazz
I would love to see him stick in the league for a while.

He was a guy who frustrated me for 3 yrs and a few games in to his senior year. Then he turned it on and was so much fun to watch play.
