How's National Signing Day going for y'all's schools?

App has 18 signed so far this morning with 5 more pending signings.

IDK much about 'crootin' but two 6-3+ both over 280 offensive linemen plus a 6-3 LB? That's a tall linebacker.

I'm always happy when we get linemen, can't (and won't) win without them.

Lord Botetourt did go 14-1 last year, so they should be winners. It is unusual to get 3 from the same school. Daleville, VA ain't too far from Boone either, just outside of Roanoke in VPI territory.

Troy signs Florida State transfer, La'Damian Webb. He was a fan favorite of FSU fans and thought he could be something special in Tallahassee. Glad to have him in Troy.

Sure will suck for the Troy transfers and recruits when the head coach is fired the day after NSD....

From what I can tell, Texas State has only 2 commits. Somewhere around a dozen hit the transfer portal so far this month. What is going on over there

Arkansas State is rumored to be signing 8-12, certainly saving spots for later with a new staff.

I am sure they are friends and maybe decided this together. That is why I was asking in case anyone know the back story.

Usually when we get two from one school they are siblings. Is three the most from one school in one year for App?

If they produce I am all for the App-Lord Botetourt pipeline to cotinue.

Troy has 13 signed so far, still waiting for our top commit to sign. Highly touted RB with multiple SEC offers (Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri).

I doubt anyone else is signing 23 but we are doing well...

RE: NDS2021
If I were to rank from what I expected, to what really has happened, GaSt has impressed me with their ability to build their program. Really thought they would be a doormat for years. TxSt has been a shock of mediocrity, I really expected them to be able to sustain some success, but has just floundered so far.

Don’t get me wrong, South Alabama Football has been my biggest disappointment over the last 10 years.....

RE: NDS2021
Third year in a row where GS's staff in a top five state for talent is at the bottom of the Belt and G5. Have spots left to improve but I doubt five spots left is going to change a whole lot unless we get P5 transfers.

Ruse gives me hope but this crap recruiting is going to come home to roost well at back to back 7-5 with no P5 on the schedule this year, Boise being replaced by horrid UMASS for a give me win and scraping by Campbell they probably have.

RE: NDS2021
I didn't think we are planning on signing many today. We need Lineman, both sides. Hard to evaluate some of the other positions because of it. I think our downfall happened with the mismanagement of the roster. I think we took too many UAB guys when they shutdown. Joey tried a quick fix that cost us years later. Campbell failed to evaluate talent and went after too many guys that were barely FBS. We got the facilities from 0 to one of the best, hoping Womack can turn this around in a few years. I hope to see competitive team next year and then improve upon that.

If he's is fired, these guys will be far better off. There's one in particular coming in who I think will clash terribly with Chip if he's heading up another season.

Southern signed 17 along with 2 transfers, the GT QB and a JUCO WR with great size. We got a bunch of lineman on both sides, plus a few LBs and DBs. I feel pretty good about this class so far, despite what 247 may say. Still 6 slots or so for February.
