Cincinnati
Keeps winning and is now 8-0 yet it seems every week they drop in the CF playoff rankings. Currently #9 behind 4 teams with 2 losses. Florida lost to 3-5 LSU and dropped one spot. Iowa State has losses to Oklahoma State and lost by 17 to La-Lafayette and is #6. It's the old formula that they have used in basketball for years. A win over a top 25 power 5 school covers up other losses to power 5 schools.

Its a complete joke. Cincinnati would walk all over Florida, Iowa State and UGA. Really hope NW beats tOSU after the stunt the B10 pulled changing their rules.

There are 3 two loss teams ahead of Cinci this year. CFP is a joke. I'll make sure I don't tune into the playoffs this year. During the BCS era, a team like Cincinnati would could reach as high as #3 but during the CFP era they get topped out at number 8. I really hope nobody tunes into the communist NC game because it's real un American.

Agreed. OH State and the big 10 are a joke and should not be eligible for the CFP. As much as I have no love for them, Cincinnati has proven that they deserve a legitimate shot, but as pointed out they keep winning and slipping behind in the polls. Even if OSU loses to NW this week, they'll still be ahead of Cincinnati. It would not surprise me to see Cincy get knocked down another notch in favor of NW, even if OSU thrashes them. The CFP is a clown show.

RE: Cincinnati
this season is a joke

if you have not played 10 games, you cant be champions of anything

we will never know how these teams would hold up over at least a 10 game season

so, pac12, big10 and aac should be excluded, maybe more

Same ole BS. Tulane 98, Boise St, TCU, UCF..........

Nothing about the NCAA is fair. Ask James Wiseman. And no one holds them accountable. We keep watching games and supporting. The beat goes on......

And this BS actually feeds the 24 hour sports coverage. They love the BS discrepancies.

The team that really should be pissed is Louisiana...

Win Over the #6 team and only loss to the #12 team yet ranked 17 spots lower than the team they beat by 17 on the road.

But the bias really shows itself by 4 SEC teams being in the top 8 without playing a single non-conference game. How in the world do you know how good the conference is if they have played no one else?

You had to know it would be this way. No way they ever let a non power 5 in the 4 team playoff. Might not ever get one in an 8 team playoff.

Sounds more capitalist than communist.

Disney wants the most eyeballs, that means the largest fanbases, for most money.

Can't expect that everyone would understand the different government systems. Our school system teaches very slanted opinions of all. And our media misuses the words associated with all types. We're seeing the product come to life.

Please tell us more.

This season has exposed the college football playoff for what it is. Oh, we've always known, but never has it been as overt and obvious. Cincy is better than Iowa State, better than Florida and better than A&M. They will beat whoever they play in their made for TV bowl game, and the pundits will again be left to answer questions; but at the end of the day, the committee would rather include a 2-3 loss TV draw from an approved conference than a deserving team from the AAC.

See. You're confused into thinking $$ = Republican/Conservative/Capitalism and no $$ = Liberal/Democrat/Socialism.

I don't have time to fix that. So.......

CINCY is getting screwed.

Solid point. Why does the PAC12's undefeated team get ZERO credit?

Without out of conference games, how do we know who's the best?

I'm shocked we don't have an 8, 12 or 16 team playoff ahead of us.

Its BOGUS as usual. For Cincinnati to have Iowa State above them is a joke. Same for Louisiana. And it would be the same if it was Memphis or UCF in Cincinnati's spot. They would find a way for the P5 programs to be in the top four. This shows the CFP committee thinks very little of the AAC.

It is going to take an antitrust suit against the P5 before anything is going to change. This year would be a very strong case.

You assumed way too much otherwise in that post. I would work on that if I were you.
