I heard on the radio this morning that USC-Aiken has cancelled their visit to Freedom Hall. A replacement has been found, but the details won't be released until the contract is signed.

CIU is an NAIA school, playing in the Appalachian Athletics Conference (AAC) alongside Milligan, Bluefield, Union, Bryan, Montreat, etc. They haven't beaten any of the D1 teams that they play, and generally play those games games as high scoring affairs.

They lost to Mercer 62-88, to The Citadel 57-96, to Liberty 26-73, and to Coastal Carolina 56-113.

The Bucs need the games to sharpen up, and to continue to improve the offense before Alabama and conference. We're on track to play about 8 OOC games instead of the usual 12-14.

He had a slight knee injury last month, but he has been sick this last week and they are being extra careful these days. He is ready to go as of today. He is a very promising player who needs to play more !!
