Oregon State beat us 73-61. I couldn't watch the game because I was working, but from what I read on RowdyTalk.com, we actually jumped out to a 13-0 lead to start the game, and had a 1-point lead with about 6 minutes left when OSU finished with a 22-9 run where we went cold and also couldn't stop them.

There's no way we'll lose to OLL on Sunday, but I'm disappointed in what I'm seeing. As I said on RowdyTalk, we showed a LOT of improvement in Henson's first couple seasons and looked as though we could end up being a top 4 program in C-USA, which I feel is doable for us, despite our lack of a proper arena. We seem to have hit a plateau though and have even regressed some.

North Texas takes on Houston Baptist in about 5 minutes. Last I saw, UNT was 23.5 point favorites. Our game on Saturday at LSU has been postponed thanks to Covid issues at LSU.

EDIT: Tonight's game is on YouTube for anyone with a basketball Jones. I believe this is the only CUSA game tonight.

At the half, UNT steamrolling HBU 44-15. Mean Green went on a 23-0 run for awhile there.

Tops get another impressive top 100 win on the road at Alabama in a great back and forth game. Hollingsworth had 4 fouls and only scored 4 points in the win. Bassey might be the best center in America. Onward.

WKU definitely the class of the conference, at least in my mind. Couple of solid OOC wins in Memphis and Bama. Plus giving WVU all they could handle.

This may turn out to be the type of mbb conference that was expected during the last round of realignment. With WKU, Marshall, ODU, Charlotte, La Tech, UAB, UNT, Rice and UTEP all showing a lot of promise, it looks like a very good conference. Thats a lot of good basketball teams.
