Ty Keyes, 3-4 star QB from Taylorsville has committed to USM after originally committing to Tulane. He was also recruited by Auburn, Nebraska, and Syracuse, among others.

Also keep an eye on Brendan Toles, 3-star db from Oxford/Lafayette who recently de-committed from State.

Do you know why he de-committed from State?

9 signed so far on the morning so that leaves us with 3 or 4 to go for this class. First 3 are transfers while remaining 6 are all high schoolers

Tee Webb - QB transfer from Louisville, freshman this current year
Montra Edwards - DL transfer from Missouri, freshman this current year
Everitt Cunningham - DE transfer for Memphis, senior now so 1 year left
Ty Keyes - QB
Brendan Toles - DB
Richard Mays - WR
Jeremiah Robinson - WR
My'Kal McLeod - OL
Jack Tannehill - K (when's the last time we signed a kicker; Bourgeois is a junior this year so this gives Tannehill a year or 2 to mature and get stonger)

Hope we fill the other slots with quality DL & OL prospects or just defensive players in general.

Well 2 more spots filled and both listed as WRs from Magee HS even though Pittman was the QB at least the past 2 years based off his bio.

Zay Franks - WR (6-2, 180)

Chandler Pittman - WR/ATH (5-9, 165)--Threw for 3,012 yards and rushed for 1,354 more for a total of 45 touchdowns as a junior; Combined for over 3,000 all-purpose yards with just under 2,000 yards in the air, while rushing for 1,052 and a total of 26 TDs a senior; Named 2020 Mr. Football by Mississippi Association of Coaches for class 3A; A three-star athlete, and No. 18 overall player in the state of Mississippi according to 247

Interesting side note in that Franks had originally committed to UCF but based on twitter posts UCF informed him in the last 24-48 hours that they didn't have enough available scholarships so he de-committed and has now signed with us
