We were treated with total disrespect by a Mr Jasper Fell upon our arrival. We have rented the deck in the past with no problems but apparently Mr Fell is the new owner of the ticket office based on his comments, "...my ticket office." Well he can have it. The attitude he displayed to us and the atmosphere he created was disgusting to say the least and put a damper on our evening. According to him we should have checked with him before we did anything. I had no idea he even existed but he played the victim saying we disrespected him. His entourage was impressed with his attitude towards us. Not surprising when he left in the third inning. At least we didn't have him staring at us through the window for whatever reason. He left several of us uneasy.

When we have rented the deck in the past it was for our exclusive use but apparently not anymore. Mr Fell knew we had rented the deck but allowed others to already be on the deck when we arrived. While we never said anything because of his attitude it was agreed we could have just bought tickets and used the deck like the 10 or so others who came up there to sit with us and saved about $60.

I dropped both football and basketball tickets because of the atmosphere that the University has created. Now baseball is no different. Sad.

I've been a fan of the University since 1975 when I was 15 and worked full time while putting myself through school. To be in a position to donate to the school now that I am retired is something I had panned to do but now I plan to find another charity to include in my will. And it was not just the incident that took place Friday but the overall direction the University is headed.

Best of luck because you'll need it.

That dude got into it with us when an esteemed poster here rented the deck in April. He was a huge a-hole.
Is this guy an employee of the university?

When I’ve attended games, I’ve either paid for or presented my ticket to the guy in the booth. Simple yet efficient process for the 2-300 fans in attendance. What changed where we now need an assistant director of ticket operations along with a full staff of student workers to handle this task?

Another example of over control.

The ticket sales likely doesn't cover administration cost of the operation.

All they see is revenue coming in while ignoring expenditures going out.

This deal reminds me of a person who brags about winning $200 at the casino, but who fails to mention they spent $300.

Tigers involved in another run rule game. But this time on good side. 13-1 Tigers in rubber game.

How can team be no hit by UAPB then take 2 out of 3 on the road @ UC?

He never put together a good year. Always hovering around .500 +/-. I think his best seasons were like 2013-2015, or so, when he actually had two really good pitchers. His son Eric and Sam Moll.

He holds Tigers record for consecutive 30+ wins season. He's had a few streak of very good teams. He just had too many poor's seasons in between the good ones.

From 2011-2017 his teams won 30+ games in 6 of the 7 seasons. A total of 8 seasons with 30+ wins.

If not for 2005, 2008 and last year his career record would be above .500. 3 really bad years in 18.

Curious to see how the new coach is going to be. Hopefully, renovation of the ballpark, potentially going to the Big 12, and a underrated area to recruit (north MS, Memphis/Nashville area). I do think this job can be more "intriguing." Justin Haire would be the guy on the top of my list.

They should take a hard look at Joe Caruso with the East Coast Sox. The guy is Tim Dulin x’s 2. He knows every HS coach in the southeast and coaches truly elite talent every year. Memphis has done an incredibly poor job recruiting & Joe would immediately charge the culture. He may not want a college job, but that’s who I’d go after.
