In conference play, they have lost every Friday game, won every Saturday game, and lost every Sunday game.

I noticed that as well. Dalton Fowler on the mound on Saturdays is the equalizer.

We really need him to continue that this week.

WSU is going to be a hard win.

They have 2 mid week games against quality teams so maybe they burn through staff before the weekend.

Agreed. Would be very easy to be swept at Wichita State the way they're playing right now. They swept ECU at home. Looks like all 3 games are on ESPN+, according to WSU's schedule.

I like the team and I like the way they play, even when they lose. Great body language, very positive approach, work hard.

Fingers crossed that he will succeed .... HAS to be able to recruit Memphis Metro and keep at least SOME of the top prospects from going to the SEC; and he has to dominate the local area JC recruiting of ANY D1 talent .... Otherwise, imo, we will never be more than a middle of the pack team ...

Upper middle of the pack would be a great thing to aspire to in the short term. Baby steps. Right now we have an RPI of 169 out of 305 schools. All I see stopping us from that is depth; and I think the current coaching staff is going to be able to fill in our roster little by little every year.

If he were able to recruit FL and GA kids to Memphis that would be awesome ... But there are just so MANY schools in those states that are powers in D1, D2, and D3 as well as JC that players have pro opportunities at all of those levels ... Fingers crossed, as I would love to see ALL of our Tiger teams become nationally relevant in ALL sports ...

He’ll have to recruit LA, GA, FL & TX, but I suspect that’s why he was hired. I expect we’ll see more teams from those states on future OOC schedules.
