Something had to be done we were losing recruiting battles with MTSU and Cumberland College.

Just don't know if he is the right hire.

Something tells me there were not a lot of coaches beating down the door to apply for the job.

Would this not be public record, somewhere?

Those numbers make Rock look like Joe McCarthy. NOT the answer.

He was the recruiting director for Missouri . So maybe he can get players that Rock didn’t look at or offer.. welcome aboard.

For 1 season then moved on.

Execpt for Southern hasn't held any position for more than 2 years.

If in two years he has the program at a level where others actually want to hire our coach, Godspeed.

Looks like they lost their top pitcher to the transfer portal… Landon Gartman signed with Mississippi State.

So you list a coach that hasn't coached a game yet----however in some sports you don't list all the coaches records that have actually coached for the TIGERS---makes sense

Even though we walked the hallowed halls together --I couldn't resist LOL----I hope this guy works out....and I do appreciate the lists

These started out as last 10 coaches for each sport. That is of course if the team has had 10 coaches. If you were to check on women's basketball you will noticed I listed both coaching changes after mcfarrin stepped down as soon as coach was announced

BTW we picked out second portal player today.

Hopefully he just had trouble adjusting from juco to div 1. He knocked the cover off the ball at nwcc. He's local also.

The guy we got from Georgia was 10-0 with an era less than 1 in highschool, but never saw action with Georgia.

Maybe we can find more teams whose nickname is the bulldogs and can pick up a few more transfers.

In baseball, with 0 AB's, that's referred to as hitting 0 with a chance at 1.000.
Could be listed at the top of the list.

Please tell me that you're not a U of M graduate. I'd hate to think our math department is that poor. He is currently 0-0 to get winning percentage you have to divide 0 by 0. 0/0 is an undefined number because you can't divide by 0.

Also if you have no AB in baseball your batting average is also undefined.and not .000.

duh - that's 2nd grade stuff - and some might say fitting, but I won't.
In baseball stats, it may be listed as undefined.
But it's referred to as batting "0 with a chance at a thousand".

They should just change the Mendoza line to a thousand instead of 200---because he had a "CHANCE" to hit 1000 LOL

The splendid splinter had a CHANCE at 1000-but only hit 400

Charlie hustle chased 400 1 season

It's the same concept as "every football team is undefeated in July".
You only have that chance in baseball until you have your first AB.
Not surprised one bit at the posters who can't grasp this.
