Florida's Marco Wilson
Can you imagine if you're him right now? Glad we don't have this idiot on our team. The memes are flying fast and furious for this guy...

RE: Florida's Marco Wilson
I am glad they gave him 15 yards to help them lose, but I think 5 yard delay of game might have been more appropriate.

When you pick a lemon make lemonade. I wonder if he could parlay his bonehead action into a commercial?

Replay "The Shoe Throw" after which Colon Kapernut asks Marco "Why did you throw the shoe?"

Marco responds "It wasn't a Nike"

I'm just wondering what went on in his mind that said "hey, I think it's a good idea to take this shoe and launch it !!!"

Congratulations Dorffman. You're at the head of the Delta pledge class.

He's 21 years old.

We all did really stupid things at age 21. We're just lucky that there weren't cameras on us.

He probably felt like garbage about this, even before he saw his twitter feed. No need for social media to pile on a 21 year old who got excited.

If you make a bad hit & get a penalty or get in a fight & get a penalty it’s part of the game. It happens. I don’t really get throwing a shoe. Weird.

RE: Florida's Marco Wilson
It was considered a taunt apparently. I guess the point is why do anything to invoke a ref to throw a flag after the play is dead? Same with taking a swing at a guy. Throwing your helmet. Whatever it may be you have to be smarter. That play in of itself was not the sole reason Florida lost but it kept a late LSU drive alive in which they eventually scored the go-ahead field go. If that was one of our guys I would call it out on here too.

That was crazy, but there is no doubt that is a 15 yard penalty. You can't go throwing a shoe down the field. That is much worse than someone doing a celebration or even saying some bad words in someone's face. I felt bad for the kid as he is going to be tormented by this and I'm sure some overzealous fans will take it too far. Hopefully he learns from it and comes out stronger.

Reminded me of the lifted dog leg act done by the Ole Miss player that ultimately cost Ole Miss the Egg Bowl. Just stupid.

Gators losing to LSU was the best thing that happened all weekend!
Marco Wilson deserves some kind of award. I don't know what kind of award but it has to be something better than the nickname "Shoeless Marco." He has an excuse: it was the FOG that made me do it!

A new college award called “The Marco” give to the player making the biggest bone head play.
