Old Oaken Bucket bites the dust. Both Indiana and Purdue have issues.

Already lost 1 of the 2 ACC makeups, 1 of the 4 SEC makeups, 2 of the 5 Pac 12 and 1 of the 6 Big 10 games. And its only Tuesday.

What's far more remarkable to me is how many games *have* been played.

IIRC, the SEC scheduled 70 conference games back in August, 71 counting the CCG. As of now, even if all five still currently on for Saturday (four makeups and the CCG) are canceled, the SEC will have played 65 of 71 possible games, a percentage far, far higher than I would have predicted three months ago.

Despite many cancelations, once the ACC and Big 12 started playing on September 12, we had games to fill up every Saturday since. We've basically gotten in a full season of Fall college football, when in August it seemed likely that we would get no season at all.

Georgia would be risking a NY6 bowl by playing this week (unless they are playing someone the level of Vanderbilt). Sure we want to see a game but ask Florida about playing "extra" games. Iowa would gain by playing Georgia but Georgia could only lose by playing.

I think both would gain by playing a game against another good team. I would hope both would be up for the challenge.

Maryland vs Michigan State Canceled.

Huge blow to Coastal Carolina. Covid cases wipe out a position group. Title game vs. ULL cancelled. They are declared co-champs.

Sun Belt only missed one of their 40 games. Tried to make it up also this weekend but it got cancelled. And now their title game.

FSU vs Wake canceled.
