He's counting the Cotton Bowl, which may have been the most important game the program has ever played.

The fact that Fuente went 26-23 is amazing considering what he took over. This 2020 season is so strange that every coach should probably get a pass regardless of what their records are.

I'm guessing Spook was 11 coaches back. This is the last TEN coaches.

Well, I mean before Fuente, the last Tigers HC to leave Memphis on his own accord was Pancoast.

RE: Last 10 Tigers coaches Football
Just looked it up. Counting Silverfield there have been 9 coaches with winning records at Memphis. Unfortunately from 1974 when Pancoast left for Vanderbilt there was not another head coach with a winning record until 2015 when Fuente achieved a winning record in his final season here. 40 years of futility, no wonder some people were encouraging abandoning the sport.

Yeah-that's the ticket---everybody gets a trophy. The EXCUSE-IFACATION I mean WUSS-IFACTION of AMERICA. I hear employees all across the fruited plain---telling employers they need a pass for unsatisfactory results.

COVID ? NO-----but just because they are coaches --they shouldn't get a pass for a PIZZ POOR job--they should be judged on merit like always ---like EVERY OTHER profession in AMERICA. Don't worry my sales force --even though you have missed quota 4 straight quarters --don't worry -even though the company is losing $$$---I am not going to make changes----college coaches are getting a free pass so I will give you one. Even though some coaches are still excelling with ZERO excuses .

You should get a miracle trophy every day you manage to not accidentally eat Drano crystals or sever an artery while shaving. The notion that someone whose own standards are below bottom of the barrel, holds Silverfield or anyone to any kind of standard is insane.
