35+ ???? Is that remotely enough?

Anything less than a 50 pt. loss should be considered a victory.

Can NIU keep Iowa under 100 points?

It's possible.

There's a chance the Iowa starters only play about a half's worth of the game.

Just saw—- 33 and 151.5.............(and that 33 is for the full game, not the first half)....

Iowa is averaging 95+. I’m guessing that the experts in Vegas are not expecting any significant minutes from Iowa’s main rotation.

Saw a little of the game against Iowa State last night—-they are so quick and such good shooters the question will be is Iowa up 20 or more when they hit 30.

But, pick your poison——-you could be watching the end of the Bears game at the same time.

Nice guess. ESPN has us at +31, O/U 151.5. I wouldn't take either. According to ESPN Iowa is averaging 99.4 per game so if we keep them under 100 we call it a victory! Odds makers must be thinking we are going to score under 40?
Luka scored 34 in 17 minutes against ISU so yeah, this is nothing but a practice game for Iowa. Their bench would beat us.

Getting a lesson today. Garza is obviously a major factor on both ends of the court, but we've missed some inside shots just because he was there and not because he actually did anything.

But...that's inexperience for ya.

I tell ya, Kaleb Thornton ain't afraid of him. Of course, Kaleb isn't going to be our top scorer but he has, and knows how to use, the one thing Garza can't compete with that and is lighting quick moves.

But, I just want to see us fight with this team and get better because of it. But Beane is going to have to knock down some hard shots in the early going for us to get that "hang in there" badge and, right now, he's not done it.

Hankerson already has 2 fouls. And we've barely played 9 minutes.
