What's up with Bob Winn's sudden resignation. Is this a new round of layoffs in the athletic department?

Hmm... I talked to him at the last game. Wonder what happened. He’s a little younger than my dad (he was my neighbor growing up), but maybe he retired?

Where did you find this out?

RE: Bob Winn
Bob Winn is still there? I mean, he is around 71 years old (he started at University of Memphis as an undergrad in 1967 which is 53, almost 54 years ago). Yeah, I'm thinking he might have retired.

RE: Bob Winn
Mass email announcing resignation effective immediately; after 53 years.
