And you could have gotten his name right. Tommy "Tiny" Lister. I simply used his most popular roll. He was also in one of my favorite Matlock episodes in the prison and a million other roles. Guess you aren't the superfan you alluded to being.

I never "alluded" to being a super fan. Knowing that he played in many roles just means I knew that. However, I apparently didn't know his first name...lol! I know you didn't mean any harm fella so no big deal.

There's a little twist to this story. He appeared in Enterprise which was set before the original Star Trek series.

Tommy "Tiny" Lister portrayed Klaang, the first Klingon ever encountered by Humans, in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Broken Bow".
