About a 6 million dollar shoe-the cost of Florida missing a NY6 bowl.

I still as of today have them in an NY6 bowl (https://www.offtackleempire.com/2020/12/...12-13-20). I don't think fan attendance will be as big a factor with limited crowds at most games but eyeballs will definitely matter and Florida is one of the most popular SEC teams in the country. Also, the CFP Committee is still SEC-biased. I don't see them dropping the Gators that far even after this loss. I think they'll still be ahead of Georgia and they aren't going to punish them for losing to Alabama.

And if I'm wrong, Florida will still likely go to either Disney World or Tampa. I'd take it!

Yes, assuming they lost to Alabama (and I wouldn't necessarily assume *that* either), it will be a mess sorting out those last NY6 bowl slots.

But like Schmolik, I would not assume Florida is out of the NY6 even if they lose to Alabama. They very well could end up in the Orange Bowl, IMO.

Yep, the offense was humming this season. They could have gone undefeated if they could have stopped turning the ball over. In three wins, they had just one turnover. In three losses, they had 11 turnovers. They get another shot next Saturday as they will play Stanford in a seventh game in the Rose Bowl on ESPN2 at 5pm PST, a game that was just announced this afternoon.
