With this past weekend's OOC results of Coastal defeating #8 BYU and Georgia Southern defeating FAU, that put the SBC pretty firmly ahead of the MWC across most rating systems. The only full-accounted ratings I could find that didn't have us ahead of the MWC were the Sagarin ratings.

The Sagarin is kind of puzzling because I could've sworn we were ahead of the MWC just a week or two ago.

I hope it doesn't influence the CFP committee. It's considered one of the most reputable ranking systems.

A reputable ranking system wouldn't have also has Coastal at #42, and Louisiana at #47.

Also, where is Iowa St ranked???

MAC #4 and CUSA #5 is consistent across the board.

I would assume that contracts establish that ODU would still get a share... otherwise, ODU could say that it's unfair for them to be left out, just because they felt it was medically necessary to cancel their season because of COVID.

That'll be nice... ODU didn't have to pay a dime for normal football season expenses, and they'll still get a $1-million payday like everyone else.

I'm sure that'll go over well.

Coach Blakeney was right, those teams who left the SBC a few years back actually made the mistake. NOW, the TV $$$ needs to reflect this
