I wouldn't call it the biggest game in Troy history... That's more of a marketing ploy to bring excitement and a crowd, and get everyone fired up.

Coastal is the highest ranked team to ever play @ Troy. The next closest was #17 Missouri. So from that aspect, yes, it's a very big game.

In a way every game since CCU beat ULL has been CCU's biggest game in their history.

I would say act like you've been there before, but you haven't. It's classless and stupid to whine about playing a CONFERENCE GAME. Good lord, you get the tiniest taste of success and now think you're above playing games in the conference that you're a member of.

It is such a bad look for the coach to ***** about fairness, etc. UL fans hated that Hud made comments about the difficulties of getting Up the Mountain to play App, even though his point was just that there is no straight shot to get to Boone.

As a Louisiana fan I want Coastal to win to set up the best CCG but that whining from your coach kinda makes me want Troy to stomp a mud hole in yall.

"feeling" a certain way about something and publicly whining about it are very different things though.

Of course he 'feels' that way. Every coach wants every advantage, that really goes without saying. The issue is your head coach whined about it out loud, to a national audience, in a time when your team and our conference should be putting its best foot forward.

We are going to play the game. We are going to win the game. It’s going to help our resume, not hurt it.

All I’m concerned about is injuries. Just keep everyone healthy.

Certainly a whiff on Chadwell's part.

With the comments, he made it known to his own players that this game has less meaning to him and everyone else, which means there may be less fired up to win this game and instead look forward to Louisiana.

At the same time, Troy players are going see it as disrespectful, especially when coming to their house.

This game gets more and more interesting.

Coach Chadwell made a mistake taking this position, and he probably realizes this now. It's understandable but IMO, puts some shade on the bright light CCU has been enjoying this season.

I want to beat the best CCU team at their place next Saturday. Hoping for a good game from both sides with NO INJURIES, and let the best team win.
