Appears you're correct. The issue I've continued to run into lately is that we have posters for which the OP would absolutely be dead serious and not at all sarcastic/joking.
It's obviously a me problem, but I'm failing by taking people at their word because I'm not particularly interested in having to root through post history to confirm what side of common sense someone is on. Such is the world in which we currently live.

Sarcasm doesn’t translate well so it is understandable why you would misinterpret posts. Many of us post on here a lot so hopefully over time we get to know each other and there are less misunderstandings.
