Kent State @ Detroit Mercy
The Flashes are scheduled to travel north of the border and take on the Titans of Detroit Mercy. Tip off from Calihan Hall is set for 7PM. Mercy has close losses to both Michigan State and Notre Dame under their belt.
Go Flashes!

My thoughts. This team looks like it has a ton of talent. I think we still have to figure out who our go to guy is when we need a bucket, but so far it's looking like whoever Santiago sets up.
I don't think I'd like to see what this team would look like if Hamilton hadn't been granted immediate eligibility. He's a difference maker on both ends. I've really liked what I've seen from O'Neal too.

Certainly solid MAC talent .... Hamilton likely to keep getting better .. O'Neal looks like the perfect No. 2 post player (anybody remember Geoff Vaughn). Nuga has played well, too. Still need a couple more pieces to fall into place, considering entire starting 5 played big-min each, but for a team still finding itself, certainly a solid start to the season with plenty of room to get better/deeper.
If Pippen can find a go-to move on the block HE IS COMFORTABLE WITH ... that could make him a go-to player. While he has hit several big 3s in his career, I would not call him a go-to 3-point shooter, IMO.
Still plenty of season to go ... who knew after three games last year Booman would be Kent's go-to guy?

I certainly remember Geoff Vaughn very well, Cleveland. Both he and Rashaun Warren were somewhat similar type players I really liked a lot.
