Maybe that bowl game in Little Rock will finally get off the ground.

It would also make sense to do #2 vs #2 and maybe #3 vs #3. Even if they just play it at one of the team’s stadiums and stream it to YouTube.
I think any exposure for those FCS schools becoming FBS is better than the little to none they receive now and that’s the motivation.

You do realize that most FCS teams get a few games on ESPN+ right? They dont have to be FBS just to put games on YouTube

I’m just saying they might have to use YouTube or I guess maybe ESPN+ if they don’t get their “bowl” games added to any broadcast network. They get some but not a lot. They will probably get more games though as FBS teams is what I’m saying but maybe not. Who knows what ESPN will do.

Just about all schools, DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA, stream their games in some form. Most games football and basketball are accessible thanks to the intrawebz and the endless supply of streaming options.

I don't think the NCAA will allow a team to play a "made up" bowl game. Remember a few years back when South and some MAC team was rumored thinking about it.

I don’t but it would be dumb the ncaa could stop that... unless to not set a precedent that bigger teams begin doing it

Correct. For example, all of Lamar's home men's and women's basketball games as well as the home football games have been on ESPN3 and then ESPN+ since January, 2016.

I don't know what future plans are. Stephen F. Austin had a similar deal with ESPN for a little longer. I also think that additional sports were broadcast in their deal.

Maybe the Longhorn Network needs more content, that someone may actually watch.
