UH’s sinking season ticket sales.

I would be interested in seeing comparable season ticket sales for Rice.

+1

I would guess we average 5-6k? Not sure how we make up the additional 10k we report for actual attendance. There’s no way those are single tickets sold unless it’s some donation/corporate discount on bulk tickets.

I think most schools that have had to cancel games or restrict attendance would have some shrinkage of their season ticket base. Probably not so much at Alabama or LSU. Probably more so at less rabid fan bases.

So much for the “if you just win”.

KPRC reported our UAB game is sold out.

So can we claim this is our first home football sellout since the 1970 Texas game (70,500)? Or if the Rice Stadium capacity was higher than 70,000, maybe since the 1964 Texas game (73,000)?

At some point (around 2003) I was told that we had fewer football season ticket holders than baseball season ticket holders. If I had to I'd guess a bit under 4K (for last year not this year) but 5-6k sounds reasonable.

Baseball season ticketholders topped out in the 3,300 - 3,400 range between 2004 - '10.

A family issue has prevented me from making the drive to see the game in person today. If anyone still needs tickets for this "sold out" game, PM me.

Does anyone know the status of Michael Collins, Austin Trammel, and Otoviano for the UAB game?

Any update on these statuses?

I'll say this -- if Collins and Trammell can't go, the Under might be worth a look...

Bloom says we’re going to run into the middle on 3rd and short. UAB says thank you. 4th down.

What kind of frustrates me more than anything else about this team is that we could be undefeated and...I still wouldn't think the team is fun to watch. I'm more negative than most on here, but beyond the offense just not really working, it's just flat out boring to watch.
