And now a word from Will Hall...
"No more excuses. We've got all the resources here to be special. We've got everything we need to get back to being the best football-playing Group of Five school in the United States of America.

But guys, we've got to band together. If all of our resources will unite--and we're going to--and get behind this thing, we're fixing to have so much dadgum fun that we’ll talk about it for years and years."

He is certainly saying all of the right things. And it appears that he is speaking with conviction and really believes it.

I will give Hall the same amount of benefit of the doubt that I give any hire we make. Until you prove me wrong, I'll trust you can get it done. Some of those take longer than others (I knew Elloss was wrong when he said after the Nebraska game we were never going to win it after half), but every person is a fresh coach who deserves support. I just hope he gives me more than enough reasons on the field to purchase season tickets and get to more than a couple games a year.

I like the hire so far. He's talking right. It appears we're paying him.. I do like he wanted less money so he could hire good coordinators and support staff.

I just hope he doesn't pull a Hop.. Bring in guys at the JUCO level to be coaches, he actually pulls in guys who are doing the job at other schools.
