This a game that was postponed early in the season after North Texas didn;t want to travel to El Paso while the city faced a spike in COVID. The make-up game was set for Dec. 12th in Midland, but is now going to be played @ North Texas. UNT will be paying for UTEP to make the trip, which will look really bad if North Texas gets stomped.... which could certainly happen. The game is set for Friday at 5pm. Possible TV schedule has not been announced.

TV is espn3 according to the schedule on the C-USA website.

UTEP's first game in 4 weeks. Rust on top of being mediocre doesn't promise to be a pretty performance but still hopeful and looking forward to competing.

4 starting UTEP db's not playing this game and have entered the xfer portal. 3 have been starters all season and the other has started a few games. Not good for our guys but what can you do.

If you have watched UNT play football, post Rice game, even the Bad News Bears Football Team would be easily favored to beat the Lean Green.

I think me and a team made up of the raccoons and skunks on my property would be favored over the Mean Green at this point.

That is some great information to know. +3 for you. Darden might be in line for a very big game. If he can tack on a few more TD's against UTEP, he might be able to secure the his position of the most TD's by a WR this season.

Awful news. Sorry to hear it. UTEP can win if it can run the football and control the clock. Keep your defense off the field and rested on the sideline.

Latest rumor is that UTEP's starting qb and a starting safety will not make the trip. Our backup qb has played very little.

I see Darden is having another monster game. I think it's between him and McCormick for CUSA Offensive Player of the Year.

Darden was beast tonight and the Mean Green defense, as usual, was least. Hoping this performance tonight gives Darden a hope for the Biletnikoff.

Great game by Darden. UTEP's qb (backup) threw 4 int's. Game over. We'll try again next year.

Seriously, I think UTEP is so close to putting it together. The game was for the Miners to take tonight if it wasn't for one player named Darden for North Texas. I didn't see anything or anyone else for UNT that would have me think otherwise.

Darden is really good WR

Tech actually had a kid win the Biletinkoff in the late 90's - Tory Edwards. He was unreal on the football field and still holds the all time record for most receiving yards in a game at 406 yards. This was done against Nebraska back when they were good. No matter who we played he was the best player on the field.

UNT was favored to beat LA Tech, but of course didn't.
