A search firm is involved, though there is some speculation that this wasn’t a rash decision and that we likely already know who we want.

This wasn’t a rash decision. The early signing period is in 9 days and I think we will have a coach in place prior to that.

The whole head coach search firm thing has always seemed suspect to me. That's a lot of money getting paid for a few Google searches and calls to coaches/agents, and the results hardly ever seem like something that couldn't have been settled on by message board consensus.
