I mean, I can understand that to an extent. Coastal wouldn't be playing this week if Troy didn't have COVID issues a few weeks back. So it's not the Chants fault.

Louisiana has an advantage of getting players healthy, studying their opponent longer, and avoiding COVID.

Coastal gets the exact opposite.

I'm curious to see what happens here.

Didn't help the Cajuns the last time they played CC. Coastal had 11 days to prepare and the Cajuns had 18. That looks like an extra week to me.

It's an opportunity for Troy to beat a top 15 school. If I were Troy, I'd definitely want that opportunity. I'm sure if the situation was reversed the Mullets would want the same.

We are a conference, not a showcase for any particular team. Troy has a right to have their shot at coastal. Anything else would be unfair.

Gill was on the weekly teleconference and was asked about Chadwell's concerns. He said they anticipate playing as scheduled.

Napier was asked about it as well. Said he'd probably feel the same way as Chadwell but it is what it is.

Cajuns also had to play at App in terrible weather in December because of their COVID issues. It is what it is.
