Napier would get that gig before Chadwell.

I’ve heard a ton of rumors about Freeze there. That’s the one he’s holding out for.

If I'm an AD and have a choice between Napier and Chadwell I'm taking Chadwell. I'd argue the ULL has better talent and certainly better depth than CCU, and Chadwell will be 2-0 vs. Napier this season.

I’d say they both are very good coaches. Napier is a program builder. We don’t know if Chadwell can do that. But his offensive system is phenomenal. From watching his scheme it looks like a spread veer variant. It is extremely hard to stop and they dominate TOP. It’s a great system.

We don't know if he can do that???? He took a bottom feeder startup to 11th in the AP in a couple of years.
He can do that.

I read somewhere (USCe forum I think) that Napier's agent is setting him up for the Vols gig when it becomes open. Pretty sure that guy is getting fired at season's end.
Whoever gets Chadwell is getting the one of the most most criminally underrated and overlooked coaches out there. He would be a good fit at UVA, Va Tech, something like that.

Chadwell hasn’t built a program as a HC. Hudspeth took a 3-9 team to 9 win seasons but he was a short term solution.
