The men unfortunately will have little chance tonight. I will see if I can watch it on TV tonight because I have a ton of sports channels on DirecTV. I think I get the ACC channels.

NIU women’s basketball looks to me like it’s whoever gets the first open 3 shoot it. If they make over 10 a chance they win if not probably lose.

According to the EIU (local) commentators on ESPN+ for that game, apparently that is the "style" for a lot of WBB teams these days. Imo, it enables a lot of "shorter" teams to compete with teams with a lot of "bigs." Btw, in the EIU game, Northern put its 6-foot-plus players on the wings to cut off Eastern's threes, and it worked. Also, the official NIU website notes that in that game, NIU hit a school record 18 threes. So you're correct ... NIU shot over 40% from three and hit 13, while WIU did not. NIU hit 18 vs. EIU. Let's hope they keep falling.
