Actually Cincy was willing to play the first game shorthanded, and the Tulsa admin was uncomfortable with the idea, and ultimately the conference is the one who pulled the plug. So perhaps they should have just played the first time.

What is the issue? Most conferences have had to cancel games this season. Even Ohio State is in danger of not having enough BIG games played to qualify for their conference championship. I believe everyone is doing the best they can in a difficult situation.

Technically yes we still would. We haven’t lost a game and everyone else but cincy has lost at least two. Even if we lost to ECU we’d still be in.

Cincinnati pulled this crap twice trying to protect their ranking. It means Tulsa won’t get a senior day and it robs us of the chance to host the game. This is straight up not fair to Tulsa. It should be held at a neutral site (like the liberty bowl)

Cincinnati are cowards. I would fully support Tulsa saying that they won’t play in the championship if it’s held in Cincy. We can make COVID excuses too ya know. If we do play there I hope we beat the ever-loving tar out of you.

If the Tulsa president did not want Cincy to bring a team that had exposure to COVID cases onto their campus, that's reasonable. UCF has not had a COVID cancellation all year. Tulsa hasn't had one that is their fault. But Cincy is now on at least two. Looks like incompetence in Cincy's administration.

Luke Fickell presser at noon. UC doesn’t have new cases but the AAC Advisory Board quashed this game based on some timeline they set.

You include "assuming" and "if" in your posts. If you don't know what has happened, and there is no way for you to do that, then perhaps try waiting until the facts come out.

For your information - Covid cases are off the charts in southwest Ohio - in fact - all over Ohio.
