I literally picked my phone up to ask the same question. Lol.

Yes we do run an offense and it has shown up the last two games in stretches, but there also stretches where they revert back to standing around, being selfish, taking bad shots, and making terrible decisions.

It feels like Jayden is the only player not in his own head. He plays relaxed and within the flow. Everyone else seems to be overthinking almost every play.

I have seen a lot that I liked tonight. Regardless of score.

Would be cool if our bigs could make any kind of shot. Dunks and layups are welcome.

Josh used to say that winning was hard. I think the more accurate statement is that when scoring is hard then winning is impossible.

I am. It’s just so odd the stretches we go on where it seems nothing is happening except a single drive then kick out to 3.

Ugly ugly ugly win.

Bright spots:

1.) Nolley. Guy is just a scorer and needs to be the go to guy when needing a bucket.
2.) Jayden. Props to him and the work he did in the offseason to get better. He is going to be able to contribute this season.
3.) DJ- Welcome to the 2020-21 season. Finally looked like himself with attacking the rim and finishing.

The bad:
1.)Turnovers - this is like beating a dead horse, but its a problem that has to be fixed.
2.)Fouls - we foul way too much
3.) offense - there are times where they look like the team we all know they can be and then they just go through these lulls where everything reverts back. It is so frustrating.

Right now Malcolm looks better on offense than Moussa. Cisse needs some work on catching the ball and finishing. But Moussa is intimidating on defense.

Nolley needs to make a higher %---or shoot less .

Does Malcolm look better? I've never seen more blown dunks/layups from a big his size than I have from Malcolm through 5 games.

Now yes I agree Malcolm is more polished offensively, but man he's got to finish.

My take.... we are missing a great point guard to take control, and a team leader like an Antonio Anderson . But where the hell did Central Arkansas find a Freddie Mercury clone?

Moussa should never touch the ball outside of 5 feet...but he needs to be in the lineup as much as possible.

Yeah that was sticking out to me as well. Way too much of that and no where near enough short passes to cutters.

Yeah it is frustrating, but you have to cut him some slack because of his knees and not being in game shape because of his knees.

The biggest take away was how much Jayden was moving without the ball. He was constantly making himself available.

Good point. The others can learn from it too.
