He would have to be a total scumbag to sign with us. It would be a total dick move on his part. Not quite as bad as Pitino going to Loserville, but almost.
Yes, but Louisville got theirs when Milt Wagner came to Memphis an assistant coach during Pitino's 1st year, only so we could snatch his son away from Louisville.
That was the ultimate troll move....

He was a good pocket passer who relied on his wheels.
He essentially has one leg now. I'd be surprised he plays any meaningful minutes wherever he goes.
That was a horrific injury.

I was out doing groceries and responding quickly on my phone yesterday. I was going to debate the bolded part, but looking at the numbers today, that's probably true. 67.1% in 2017 was very good, but 59.2% in 2018 wasn't amazing.
I hope he doesn't play.

I LOVE this! But a little insight: Pitino wanted the Michigan job. He took the Louisville job because his wife and kids liked Kentucky per Pitino. He also got into horse racing, so maybe he liked the area too, though he credited family with ALL of that decision.

Yeah, he ran for 88 yards in the AAC title game vs. Memphis in 2017 and topped 100 yards rushing in the Peach Bowl vs. Auburn.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if he transferred here, and we beat UCF in their house with Milton as our QB?
I think the preferable options would be Brady White for another year, although I think Brady will be ready to move on with his life. He's 24 years old and it's not like we are expecting to have a team like we had last year that went 11-2 and played in the Cotton Bowl. I'm a little surprised he opted to play again this year.
It doesn’t change your overall point, but we finished 12-2 last season.

MN felt that Keilon was his next stud qb, was very high on him. RS loves the LSU transfer. Those two and the kid from Texas, should be a lot of fun next year.
Brady will most likely transfer to a school that can compete for a NC at a P5 school that needs an experienced QB for one year.

I think Brady's mind is his greatest asset...If he were to go to somewhere like 'Bama where not much thought is needed since you are throwing to open guys...talent probably wins out.

Tua, Burrow, Lawrence - Brady is not.
Brady likely moves on to the next chapter in his life next year.

I am afraid Brady's best football is behind him. He should finish his dissertation and take over as QB coach for the Tigers.

We also have a transfer from Austin Peay in the QB room who can sling it and has experience.
But a running QB can really add a dynamic to our offense we don’t have. The run game has sucked this year and we don’t have a QB who can run to keep defenses honest.

It's been 6 years. Ferguson was slow, White is at another level altogether.
It will be shocking to see.

Milton and Gabriel are good friends, Milton did not want to compete against Gabriel for the job in part because of that friendship, so he is transferring out. Sounds like high character to me
