The guy won at a school with a glorified HS stadium as its home (Charleston Southern). Compared to this, winning at a place with a ton more resources like Coastal is a piece of cake by comparison.

And it was a great Game Day for this season. Unlike many of them this season, Coastal had their cheerleaders and some fans out there, making it a bit festive.

Disappointed in the result--but Coastal Carolina had BYU not looking themselves in any aspect of the game. Kudos and best of luck! BYU will drop like a stone in the rankings now and get a run-of-the-mill bowl game but that's how this stuff works.

That was a great game. BYU should still be a Top 20 team and Coastal Carolina should for sure be a Top 15 team and could rank higher if they play a 1-loss Louisiana team.

Any chance coastal can make a NY6? How many teams ahead of them have to lose assuming UC takes the first slot?

Cincinnati losing one of the two games against Tulsa and Coastal Carolina wins out and the SBC Championship against a 1-loss Louisiana team that beat Iowa State. You can pencil Coastal Carolina into the NY6 I think.

I meant if UC runs the table, what is the path? Maybe 3 SEC teams, 3 ACC teams (including ND). PAC 12 champ, Big 12 champ, UC, OSU, Indiana. That is 11. Who is 12?
