Quarterback Jase Bauer (6-2, 205, 4.6) of Ankeny (Ia.) High School announced via Twitter this afternoon he was offered a scholarship by Central Michigan.

Rated a 3-star recruit in the 2021 class, Bauer also reports scholarship offers from Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, South Dakota State, Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois. Additionally, Bauer reports receiving a preferred walk-on offer from Iowa.

I watched his video, I don't know about his arm, his footwork looks a little strange to me (I'm not an expert) but he is mobile. This seems like the best QB possibility that CMU has a shot at.
