They are sorry.
Be forewarned this is a venting off steam post. No other purpose but to vent some of my disgust and anger.

Physically unable to get around much anymore so I rely on delivery for almost everything.

Placed my weekly grocery order with Walmart, even purchased the delivery plan in order to save cost.

With every order, I SPECIFICALLY state that I am physically unable to bring food into the house and to NOT leave it on the ground at the door.

Got my usual text at 11:47 stating that the order will arrive around11:52 so I put my dogs in the back yard and go and unlock my front door.

I look out there and my order is sitting on the ground by my door. I call the store and they said they will contact customer care and call me back and so far no callback.

Then I go online and talk to customer service e and they look into it and come back with the ole we are sorry routine.

Asked them if they were personally going to come to my house and bring the food order into the house, if not, then their I'm sorry routine doesn't do jack **** for me.

How damn hard it is today to get people who can do a simple thing like follow directions?

Hey NCR.....i'm trying to comprehend your post a bit more so PLEASE don't take this any other way than a person just trying to understand your situation.

You are unable to get around physically these days (I got that by what you wrote), but i'm trying to figure out why Walmart leaving the groceries at your front door during a pandemic as opposed to bringing them in doors is an issue when you were able to get up and let the dogs out?

Are we talking about a bag full of groceries or 10 bags of groceries? Please elaborate if you want want to.

Again, i'm swear to you i'm not being an *******, i'm just trying to sincerely understand your post and what I missed.

RE: They are sorry.
Have to use a walker to get around in the house since my motorized scooter does not work.

Both my knees are bone on bone with very little cartilage left. bending down and bending knees to get stuff off the ground causes them to grind with sharp pain.

One knee has given me trouble for over 40 years due to damage inflicted on it during wrestling practice.

After damaging back during a racing crash the extra weight gain has just exasperated the damage already done to the knees.

Even laying in the bed the wrong way sends bolts of pain through my knees.

The last thing I want to do and refuse to do is get hooked on pain killers.

RE: They are sorry.
.

My left knee was bowing out & was bone on bone.

There was a time the pain in my back was so bad I couldn't get up off the floor of my bedroom.

Went to Ortho Memphis & they replaced my knee at Methodist Germantown.

Best thing I ever did; or at least one of the best.

What was my worst knee is now my best. No pain.

Fixed my back pain because it aligned my posture. It's been 9 years now.

Go to the Doc get examined & get fixed.

Years ago my dad had both knees replaced, I think also at Methodist Germantown. His were in similar shape from high school football injuries. I was amazed at how quickly he was walking and doing better.
