RE: 2021 Bearcats Football
Is there any YouTube fan channels that discuss these types of topics for the Bearcats? I search but the most I usually find is Brendel’s channel with some interviews, the random ESPN clips (highlights), and the Official Bearcat Channel. A fan channel that just discusses the news, games, players, etc... would be perfect.
I did find a couple podcasts, but I guess maybe I just can’t get enough Bearcat discussion, info, news, etc...

Are you tuning in to the BCJ Podcast? Also, there is a week recap on BCJ with Brent Young (Brent’s Bearcat Bounce). You do not have to be a member to listen. Those podcasts are usually an hour and a half each and will keep you knowledgeable. There are several other fan podcasts I could point you to. There is more UC content than ever before this year.

Yea, I definitely listen to those. There are a couple others via podcast and I even found a recording of Fick’s show weekly show posted via Podcast.
Definitely seems to be more than ever. I think I just consume a lot and I’m always looking for more.

Justin Williams tweeted that both Doaks and Vann opting for NFL draft. Will be interesting to see who else declares early.

I retract Vann. Misread the quote. He was dressed but didn't play. Don't know the reason.

I saw the Doaks tweet. I didn't see the Vann one. I thought I saw Vann tweeting "We'll be back."

Doaks got hurt during the aaccg so I get him being out. I'm still trying to figure out wtf happened with sauce and his back... World class trainers and he gets hurt during warmups. Really unfortunate for us

I’ve just followed Justin Williams Twitter feed. From what I can gather there were some issues with the audio

I think nobody knows for certain until we figure out who returns for the "extra year" and which, if any, underclassmen opt out for the NFL.
At a minimum the offense looks to return the most from the starting group... Renfro, O'Quinn, McConnell, Whyle/Taylor, Pierce, Jayshon Jackson... underclassmen Ridder and Hudson will be key returns if they stay. Will need to find out if Harper and Michael Young stick around. We could potentially nearly everyone back but Doaks.
Defense is losing a ton, but then again we'll need to see who comes back around for that "extra year". Sounds like Beavers is for sure. Briggs will likely step and start on the DL from day one. Also need to see if underclassmen Sanders comes back. Some of the guys who will fill in for departed seniors will have a lot of experience- Arquon Bush, Javon Hicks, Cook, Ty Van Fossen, Malik Vann. I actually think biggest challenge will be to see if the second group on defense can come in and be as effective as the second wave of the group from the past two seasons.

RE: 2021 Bearcats Football
I’d like to see some guys like Dublanko, White and Tucky come back for the free year.
They don’t seem like guys who will play on sundays (who knows) but they are great glue guys. If they want a masters degree, love to see them here.

That looks brutal. Oh well fick and co have proven we have depth now.
I'm betting we run through the AAC again with an outside shot at the cfp (lol) if we knock of nd and IU. I think nd will be very vulnerable next year. Iu seems to be the better of the 2

Just a note, Michael Young is a Junior by eligibility, so he has one more standard year left without the added Covid Year.

As Rath said, there are many who could likely benefit, both personally through extended education, and athletically by staying another year, specifically Darrian Beavers, but yeah, we will need to replace a lot of starters on defense either way.
Our defensive starters will probably be the following next year:
DL:
Vann-Briggs-Taylor/Martin
LB:
Beavers-Ingle-Van Fossen
DB:
Gardner-Hicks-Cook-Bush/Ward
Offense is far more clean cut...if we lose Ridder, Bryant will likely stay, and outside of that, everyone but Harper is still an "underclassmen".
