Busch League. Pack the Nip!

I'll take 5k but boy would it be nice to get as many people as possible feeling comfortable going back to the stadium as well as excited to go see this team to get some revenue flowing.

Honestly that would be a lot for a UC spring game.

Those expecting full capacity this fall better hope a lot of things go right over the next five months. I still believe we are at least a year away from normal full capacity maskless sports attendance.

Agreed I'm not expecting it in Cincinnati whether from the state/univ decision makers or our fans. It will annoy me to likely be watching the SEC and some other large conferences back to full capacity while we wait but it is what it is.

Coming off of the Peach Bowl appearance I would expect there to be a lot more in attendance than 5K. The Spring Game attendance after the Orange Bowl was really good. They had to open up additional sections to accommodate the crowd.

I saw the email and that we pickup tickets the day of the game but didn't see a link to reserving tickets. Does that mean we just show up and get in line for tickets?

Email stated First come first served for tickets in person on April 17.
If the weather is nice queueing up seems problematic.
If the weather sucks no problemo.

The other odd thing was prepaying for parking. What if you prepay, park and go to the ticket window and all of the tickets are already gone?

On a nice day they will be.

Yea I guess when I saw tickets had to be picked up in person I assumed we'd order/reserve them online and then just get them day of the game. Does seem odd to have people queued up, particularly if we actually get the 5,000 fans to show up. Considered taking my two kids but that doesn't seem do-able given the pods of 2.

Ok so what if we get 10K people to show up? Are they seriously going to turn people away?

We definitely had some big crowds back in the BK days, particularly the good weather days. That will be the big factor. Many people (like me) would love to have an event to go to with their family on a nice Saturday afternoon. So maybe you show up early in get in line to make sure you've got a spot?

If the weather is that nice and that many people show up maybe they will move it to Nippert.

The game is at Nippert. They're just only allowing 5k in. I haven't paid close enough attention to know of the current guidelines and whether special permission was needed to have more or if they just felt there wouldn't be more than 5k that would show up.

Hopefuelly, they let Season Ticket holders reserve seats and then give away any left overs.

This has all been subject to so many regulations (that seem to keep changing) but I expect capacity limitations in OH exceed this number at the present time so it may have just been an arbitrary number based upon UC's expectations for crowd size.

Anyone know how many the Reds will allow tomorrow @ GABP?

Castellini said 33% capacity but by the time they give tickets to players families and the Reds "business partners" aka those who buy suites and pay for advertising there would be 12,000 fans via tickets sold in the stands.
