He will be missed! He was a loyal poster and a great fan of his school. Prayers for his family. I've notified GTS for the memoriam.

Condolences to his family. He was always a catalyst for discussion on multiple boards and I suspect his persona in real life was just a significant. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Here is the thread(he posted as SiouxVolley over there):

If you or someone has an account over there, you should let his brother know about our memorial page (retired jerseys) to see if he'd like to pass along an obit or something.

Good guy. Great poster. I like to check the last thing fans who passed away have to say on this board. His last thread seems like he was lashing out. I hope he wasn't freaking out because of his personal situation.

Good point. Hopefully in the future if anyone here is having a rough time personally, they reach out to someone or someone reaches out to them.

With an absence of information it’s hard to tell if that was the case with NoDak, but this thread shows many people appreciated him and would’ve helped if that’s what he needed.

Reading the thread on the Sioux board, it says he was a chemical engineer with a Masters. That’s very impressive. He clearly had much success in his real life.

His expansive knowledge of college sports like hockey, volleyball, WBB, etc will definitely be missed.

RIP NoDak. I enjoyed his realignment pipe dreams even though we all knew there was no shot any of what he was posting was going to come to fruition. But at least he put some effort into it and had passion for them, along with his support for all things UND.

I think my first encounter with him was on the Sac Buzz board when WAC implosion/realignment was going down around 2008. He was persistent that Sac State was (or did?) get a WAC invite and that most of the BSC would follow suit and the FBS WAC would be saved. Memorable times.

RE: FYI: NoDak passed away
RIP

I loved his idea even if it had too many moving parts.
There are four to six schools in the BSC and MVC that could belong to a MAC or Sun Belt type conference and build from there.
Those schools the Montana schools or XDSU's have no other realistic options but joining forces to move up .
He presented it as a done deal when at best it was a long shot .
Some people got angry about that I'm not sure why either of those things happened.
I wish it would happen and give the football independents a football only home as well.
The big problem Montana's and NDSU are already so successful selling out most the time. They own their markets and have little to gain .
Its not like fan interest would increase much its maxed out already.
But I wish the Great Northern happened and think he made a lot of good points .

That's awful. I told him he was wrong a lot, but Idaho athletics would have been a lot better off in NoDak's world than in the real one. RIP.
