Bowl Substitute?
If the bowls want to cancel give the schools the freedom to setup additional games if the schools want. Let ESPN help with the setup since they have our TV money. They could setup rivalry games that got canceled?

Works for me. I'm always up for more football.

1 weeks is short notice for bowl certification but I imagine the NCAA could give a 1 year waiver. A school could pay an opponent $500,000 to come play at their home stadium during bowl week if they were left out because of bowl cancellations.

Haven't we had enough conference games?

They probably wouldn't be conference games.

About as satisfying as calling tofu dogs a meat substitute.

I believe UCF just took the bid to the Boca Bowl. Rumor is that the ACC is the opponent.

I don’t think it’s going to happen but you don’t need NCAA approval for a “bowl game” if you’re not playing more than twelve games because it won’t be a “bowl game” in the eyes of the NCAA.
