We are stocked like a cupboard at OL.

I'd be surprised to see us get more verbals or take a grad transfer.

As I have posted under the 2021 recruiting thread, I suggested that h.s. (and JUCO) prospects commit early. The numbers are getting very tight and the early committer gets the scholarship...

Nice game Hurons! Turnovers were the difference as neither team could really stop the other. If hutchinson played against WMU every game he'd be a heisman contender 03-lmfao.

See you in Ypsi next year.

Our defense has faced the number one FBS pass efficiency QB in Eleby, the number 6 in Crum, the number 20 in Peters and the number 29 in Pitts. Preston is currently ranked 40th.

I've been super impressed with Hutch. Quick with his feet, throws well and is competitive. Junior this year.......Could he be the 1 or 2 best returning MAC QB's returning for '21? He's not doing this on his own, I know. He has a good line, REALLY good WR's and might just have a stud RB in Boone. This offense could be scary good in '21. Now, the defense.........ehh.....

He is technically a redshirt junior, BUT because this season doesn't count, he'll be a redshirt junior next season.

Still has 2 more years. :)

That's awesome to hear. He's playing great and he's the type of gritty competitor we need more of. I thought we would struggle without Glass, but at the rate he's playing I think he's better. Stats after game 5....105/169 for a 62% completion %. 1,400 yards with 10 TD's. If he has 2 more years on top of this......WOW.

His WR's (Beydoun and Tanner) are 7 and 8th. This offense has to be the top 1-2 going in to next season. I really hope we keep at least 1-2 Senior Olineman who want to stay.

Now I'll admit I have some bias, but based on what I know of the way Patton pushes the O-line as a squad, if we do lose Van Hoeven and Donnelon, I think Patton will have the "next men up" ready to fill right in. I think the Eagles' O-Line will be set for a few years moving forward.

Absolutely. Great to hear. It's tough because I want the starters to stay but also the fun is watching the younger guys fill in and shine.

I think the O-Line is the deepest position we have. Here is what I am excited for on the O-Line..... Sow and Marcellus returning is big as they have experience. Dooley I think has Sunday potential and will be a 4 year starter. Dmitri Douglas will be eligible and was a B10 transfer, Jason Eaton is the largest human I've ever seen, Howie I was excited about when he signed and I think he will be a 3 yr starter, McAdams had high offers and had injuries and Racely seem good too. That O-line will open holes for Boone and allow Hutch to do his thing. Given our Defensive issues, we need this group to put up 31 a game to win and I think this group does it.

Go Eagles.

I agree with you. By the way Johnson has a done a good job for his first year as a starter. There is a lot of talent even if Big Mike and Jake decide to move on.

I don't see many Eastern fans here in GR, but the Sunday after the game I saw someone wearing an Eastern hat. He must've been excited. Congrats guys. I like seeing you guys win every game you don't play us.
