Sigh.

I was afraid this was going to happen. Not so much the stalling of Military Circle redevelopment. That was fraught with peril from the jump. I was worried that a new arena would not happen. What they were talking about building was already too small and now they want to put a Band-Aid on Scope to try and squeeze a few more years out of it when it is time to replace it. I love the old girl and spent a lot of time there watching the Monarchs and Admirals play but there is only so much they are going to be able to do with the architectural limitations of the roof. There was a plan a few years ago that would bump the concourses out and relocate the ticket office up to the Plaza level that had some potential. I just think that money would be better spent on a new building rather than on upgrades to a building where Elvis and Dr. J played.
