Anyone who predicted Chad Beebe would be a productive NFL receiver...or even in the NFL...raise your hand. I know I didn't. Congrats to Chad!

No way. I knew he wasn’t used to his fullest abilities here, but I didn’t think he’d go next level. About the only thing I knew about him was his first few steps were ridiculously quick. There was a YouTube of him coming off the line in his HS days where he was just super explosive. Check his combine quickness tests. Better than TLL.

RE: Chad Beebe 1st TD
That's pretty crazy about Chad vs. TLL. I'm looking forward to watching Chad's career going forward. Funny Beebe story (Don, that is). My son played travel and high school baseball. Good fielding first baseman, good hitter, but slooooow, so I signed him up for Don Beebe's Speed Camp. You know how they say "you can't teach speed or quickness?" Well, you can't. My son was still slooooow when all was said and done. If it was possible I'd swear he was even been slower! I called to tell him about Chad's TD last night and reminded him about the camp. He had a good laugh.

I was a big fan of Don when he was with the Bills. If you ever want to know how fast Deion Sanders really was just watch the clip of him chasing Beebe down from behind on a kick off return Deion's rookie season. And we know how damn fast Don was.

He looked AMAZING in sparks. His acceleration, route running and quickness in his routes were world class with us. Big big problem was that he was typically injured.

He was injured most of time at NIU. If he can stay healthy, he will be a decent receiver

It makes sense for anyone going into the NFL training programs...but he looks so much bigger than even his jun and sen years here. Dude has put on some muscle.

I agree with 58 never thought he would be an NFLer and one of the reasons was size and injuries.

Someone refresh my memory we had 3 NFL receivers on the team and no one get them the ball? Golladay, BB and Christian Blake. The thing I remember most about G was the disgusting look on his face when the ball would land 10 yards in front of him.

Four on the 2015 team with TLL and also Canadian League Juwan Brescacin. Not many P5 teams can say that.

Who knew that of the Orange Bowl team's for both us and FSU....Tommy Lee Lewis would be the only remaining receiver in the NFL

Jimmie Ward also had a big day, forced 2 fumbles.
