Maric has been The Man so far. 15 of 18 from the field, 8 of 10 from the line, averaging 19 points and 5.5 boards per game.

8-man rotation so far. Andric is being nudged toward being in the rotation. Stulic has started both games, but Lukic has the starter's minutes and had delivered, at least offensively.

Maric is 15 of 18 from the field. Lukic has been our only real threat from the arc so far, but others will heat up. One really encouraging thing is that the entire team is shooting 80% from the line.

One bad thing: we have 18 assists against 39 turnovers.

The number that just jumps out at you from the stat sheet is Nowell's 31 shots (no one else has taken more than 18) and only making 7 of them (22.6%). Obviously, that cannot continue.

If we could just stick with getting the ball down low, those shots for our guards will be much better and even uncontested. Nowell just needs to stick with that at first and see if he can get his touch back. But I will say that these teams we are playing are pretty solid defensively, so I’m glad that we are facing challenges now and hopefully correct them before sunbelt play.
