The donor was the Moody Foundation, out of Galveston. It's nice work if you can get it.

Quote:Financial information:

The Foundation's main source of revenue consists of dividends from stock held in the American National Insurance Company, the majority of which is controlled by both the Moody Foundation and the Libbie Rice Shearn Moody Trust. The trust department of the Moody National Bank administers the finances of both the Foundation and the Trust.[5][6][7]

UAB's stadium looks nice because it's new, but honestly it's kind of a cookie-cutter stadium. A mass sea of aluminum bleacher seats. It's no Apogee in my opinion.

The main positive is the downtown skyline for UAB's new stadium. Great location.

I've always been impressed with the architectural firms Rice has contracted with to design their new facilities. And by reviewing the portfolio this is an outstanding firm. Previous architects always delivered outstanding designs that complement the current buildings utilizing features from neighboring buildings.
This building will stand out from the rest of the buildings with its unique design and features. Does it have any architectural features from other buildings? It's difficult to tell from the renderings. At this campus location, there is nothing wrong with standing out. I can see this building being attractive to Houston visitors.
