Today's Rice football trivia question
Which current Owl has an interception against a starting QB in the NFL?

At least I think he's a current Owl - he's still on the roster but hasn't played in any games this season.

That's your super-duper give-it-away hint.

RE: Today's Rice football trivia question
Really interesting question to look up. I'll type it here in the default background color. Highlight for the answer.

George Nyakwol, 2018 @ Wake Forest, 4Q 12:54. Kendall Hinton was a 3-year starter at QB for Wake and got a 5th year due to a sophomore-year injury. His RS JR year, he fell all the way back to third string, not helped by going 2 of 3 for 2 yards and an INT against us in garbage time (he was 0 of 5 the rest of the season). He played his RS SR year as a WR (1001 yards) and still plays in the NFL as a receiver. Broncos are out all three of their regular QBs this weekend, so they're playing him as their best alternative.

Box score for the game in question.

RE: Today's Rice football trivia question
Technically Hinton didn't start the game today (they went with a wildcat type offense to begin the game), but he's their only 'quarterback' on the roster. And while he didn't do much against Rice, I don't think he's now a WR because of that game. The bottom line is he's not a college quarterback, let alone an NFL starter.

It wouldn't shock me if Denver finishes their game today without a completed pass.

With about 13 minutes to play the Broncos have 1 completion in 9 attempts. They also have 2 INTs.
