Whoever mentioned Eberflus is ******* crazy, and you're not getting many P5 or AAC coordinators with the max salary UT should probably be targeting based on their budget situation ($500,000 or so).
Yeah I may be *******crazy, but I did say
- “IF Toledo could afford to and I highly doubt they can”.
Greg Dempsey ?? Are you *******crazy !!
The University would have another Gerry Faust situation on their hands but only on a lesser scale...
Faust/Moeller/Notre Dame and you want Dempsey/CCHS/Toledo
Oh yeah, that’s the ticket...

Didnt say I wanted him, just trying to balance out the ludicrous names like Eberfuls, a man who will be an NFL head coach in 2 months, with a VERY little one who could actually be hirable (even if he'd be a terrible candidate)
Truthfully, we'll end up with an average P5 coordinator looking for a life raft before he's made to walk the plank, a decent G5 coordinator, or just hire from within at this point. Most good coordinators are making more now than they would by moving over.
I wonder if they take a stab at a Vince Morrow type despite his horrible coaching limitations...he has connections, great recruiting chops, and will likely be looking for a job soon. At the end of the day, I bet this is all moot because UT doesn't have enough cash to pay for a buyout anyways.

'Except for academics, he's been a total failure"
to be fair with complete assessment of his tenure, fund raising and improving facilities has been outstanding, not saying that makes up for the lack of championships but it is an important measure of an AD
