Machine algorithm allocates 'excess votes' for desired candidate.
Counting stops for the night.
Individual feeds pre-filled ballots through machine after observers leave.
Paper ballots now match machine count.

Only takes a handful of people in the correct precincts to make this happen. Not saying it did, but it certainly could have and all with less than 20 people involved nationwide.

Let a third party---with bipartisan participation--oversee the process. Maybe let law enforcement run it with bipartisan observation. That said---I hope the people in charge share your open minded view of an election commission. As long as its seen as a trusted ethical commission--their report---be it fraud filled or fraud free---will go a long way toward restoring trust in our election process.

Pretty much every state already does this. They're doing it right now in Michigan with a risk limiting audit. They took a random sample of ballots across precincts across the state and a group of R's and D's are verifying that they were recorded correctly. And so far, they were.
