RE: Wins over teams from “better” conferences
As an Aggie fan, last season was frustrating because the injuries prevented the team from showing how good they really could have been. This year, I fear that if the season happens, their lack of game play will prevent what is possible the most talented Aggie team from reaching their potential. Ok, I am better now.

Ok. I will say this: Watched this game on the big screen last night, and GCU is the best all-around WAC team I've seen play so far. Their size and bench/depth are gonna be a real problem in conference play. Tarleton hosts GCU to kick it off, and I can tell you right now we don't have an answer for their size and athleticism in the paint.

I agree. GCU has shown to be the strongest team of the WAC teams who are playing consistently. I still feel you will be (or could be) impressed with NMSU's roster line up if they could ever get on the court with their full compliment of players. However, I do fear the time is running out on NMSU's opportunity to develop roster chemistry before the start of WAC play. NMSU needs to get on the court soon.
