But seriously, I think they were happy to get rid of us by leaving the Big South. It's like when someone breaks up with a significant other and they move on and are happy in a better place but can't stand seeing the other person also happy and in a better place too no matter that both are better off.

If Willis is out, I don't think this game is close.

So it's confirmed Willis tested positive, so that's the ball game. He's not sick or displaying any symptoms, so the only hope is that he is negative on subsequent tests.

Without Willis, chances are slim that we win this game.

Earlier this year, Saban tested positive early in the week and tested negative the rest of the week and coached inn the game. Will be harder to win but not impossible. He missed time earlier in the season and we won, though that wasn't the caliber of opponent that Coastal Carolina is.

Does anyone know what rules are in place for both Liberty and the SBC in regards to cancelling a game given the virus situation?

I'm hearing about "Covid concerns" on Liberty's side but nothing determined at this point in time.

Looks like Liberty is potentially threatened with cxling this game...will know by tomorrow since the Covid-19 outbreaks may be more widespread than just Malik Willis (almost the entire defensive coaching staff is being w/held from practice). Looks like BYU has agreed to play at Coastal Carolina in the event that Liberty can't play. Shoot...I hope this isn't the case.

The fact that Willis tested positive Sunday leads me to believe it was from either NC State or WCU, or it could have from contact with someone else in the prior 10-14 days, as it wouldn't have led to a positive test so soon if it was from over the weekend.

Liberty @ CCU is cancelled.

Stinks all the way around. We have been good/lucky to avoid any issues all season until the final game of the regular season. I wonder if we could line up a game for next week if we are all healthy.

The LU press release said they are only looking to prepare for a potential bowl game. Assuming they have to follow the 14 day rule, 12/12 would probably be too soon.
