First of all, ODUBALL has a crush on me. Its flattering to read especially when I blocked him years ago.

2nd- I have not clue about womens basketball. I don't know if they get tired or not, I was referring to Men's basketball where it is clear that depth is an excuse for when teams play badly. 6-7 is all you need to use in mens. Thats been proven for years. Its funny for people to think that a 20 year old boy cant play a 40 minute basketball game in back-to-back days.

I now know the reason I hadn't seen Amaya Register play for a while, she retired from active basketball due to medical reasons. Never really was able to develop her game to the next level due to her knee injuries. Monarch Nation still loves you Amaya, wish you all the best!

The ladies tried but couldn't get the dub today, eventually losing to Marshall in OT, 73-68.

Anyone have any idea if Wayne and Young will play Thursday? Gallant effort without them last weekend, but the team needs their scoring and defense.

Have to admit, I haven't closely followed the women since I had season tix in like 1998. But, does anyone else feel like the team has taken a step backward this year? I know, new coach, and COVID and all, but i felt like we were on the cusp of big things at the end of last year. Now I just don't.

Its hard to take this season too seriously due to Covid, but yeah, I thought we'd be quite good this season too. Im going to give the coach a pass on this year, but hopefully she lives up to the hype and we see huge improvement next year.

First, I haven’t given up on this season. The team had two players opt out from the outset. They’ve had a guard decide to stop playing because of a knee injury. Early in the season the team played games without a full squad because of COCID. They’ve had starts and stops. I have some concerns too about the coaching staff, but I’m willing to give Coach Jones some time. I like the offense, but hate that there is no true inside presence. If things aren’t a lot better next year, I’ll start raising cane.

Sadly they shouldn’t have even been within 10 points in regulation. Bummer

We were so gassed at the end of the 1OT, with 4 players. We still had a shot to win with the last shot. The 2nd OT our 4 gassed players were spent.
