It will also make the Big 12 look really stupid for allowing non conference play. Especially considering the level of respect the CFP Committee gave Iowa State (and Oklahoma) even with the bad Big 12 losses, you could argue if Iowa State doesn't play Louisiana they would have gone to the Playoff.
